Student Research Assistant – Work Study

Responsibilities:

• Administrative support, including but not limited to planning meetings, conducting literature reviews, assisting with grant application preparation, acquiring data and conducting descriptive analyses, creating charts and figures, and presenting findings in lab group meetings.
• May be trained to conduct preliminary research activities and collect pilot data.

Qualifications: Preference given to DPT students with an interest in orthopaedics, women’s health, health equity, and weight stigma. Applications are welcome from students in other disciplines.

• Highly self-motivated; attention to detail; dependable; strong communication skills
• Able to follow protocols and policies
• Able to work well independently and within a team environment
• Experience with MS office applications, and data management software
• Previous experience in a clinical research environment would be an asset
