20 hours per week
We are seeking a work study student for an administrative assistant position for a maximum of 20hr/week at Mission Hall to support this and other closely related projects. The student will work in collaboration with key faculty and staff members in CHESA.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in coordinating events and meetings.
- Manage the Open Oximetry Word Press website with new resources and information as directed by the project team.
- Supporting activities for recruitment of study volunteers (distributing flyers, attending events, administering surveys etc.)
- Manage the CHESA/Open Oximetry social media accounts including developing ideas and content.
- Support desk review and/or background research
- Support other projects as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Must be enrolled as a student in the UCSF Global Health master’s program (2023-2024 academic year) and qualify for Federal Work Study Program
- High self-motivation, passion, and interest in Global Health issues particularly in research, education, and policy
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work under supervision.
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with the ability to work in teams and individually.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with Word Press, graphic design, social media management
