The Department of Education announced several changes will be made to the PSLF program including simplified qualifying payments, additional support for service members and federal workers, and most importantly a limited waiver for prior payments. The waiver will give credit to previous payments regardless of loan type or payment plan. The department plans to release more updates in the coming months.
