UCSF’s back-up care program offers students 10 days/academic year of child/adult/elder back-up care. During the months of March and April, there are no copays for in-home or center-based back-up care. Out-of-network care reimbursements of up to $100/day are also available for situations where alternate back-up care cannot be used (COVID exposures, household symptoms or discomfort using new care during COVID, for example).
