As our nation commemorates Veterans Day on Thursday, we would like to highlight these upcoming events
Veterans Day Town Hall: Tomorrow, Tuesday, Nov. 9, from 12:10 to 1 p.m., the UCSF School of Nursing will host a Veterans Day Town Hall with Assistant Secretary of Veterans Affairs Linda Spoonster Schwartz. In 2019, she was in honored by the American Academy of Nursing as a “Living Legend” for her lifetime dedication to “healing the wounds of war.”
Veterans Job Fair: On Wednesday, Nov.10, from. 1 to 3:30 p.m. UCSF will host a virtual Veterans Job Fair and Open House. This is an opportunity for veterans to meet UCSF leaders, job recruiters, and community partners who are focused on supporting veterans on their job search.
