The Free Application for Federal Student Aid or FAFSA opens on 10/1 for the 2022-2023 year.
Continuing students will need to resubmit a FAFSA and UCSF Financial Aid Application each year to reapply for grants, scholarships, Health and Human Services Funding, and Federal Direct Loans.
Incoming students or students applying for the first time will need to complete at least the FAFSA and will be sent further information about completing the UCSF Financial Aid Application and CSS College Board Profile after you are accepted.
