Biden Student Debt Cancellation application is now live!

President Biden has announced that the application to apply for student debt cancellation is now available for borrowers. Pell Grant recipients can receive up to $20,000 in debt forgiveness and $10,000 for non-Pell recipients. Individuals who made less than $125,000 in 2021 or 2020 or families that made less than $250,000 in 2021 or 2020 can qualify for the debt cancellation. While the deadline to submit the application is Dec. 31, 2023 borrowers are encouraged to submit by mid-November 2022 to expediate the process as loans will start to go into repayment in January 2023.
