Monthly Cost of Living Allowance

Student Financial Aid establishes a modest, yet adequate cost of living allowance to determine financial aid eligibility each school year. This allowance includes housing and utilities, food, transportation, personal and miscellaneous, and medical expenses. The off-campus allowance assumes shared housing costs.

One of our unique ways of helping students is our recently launched outside scholarship database. This database includes scholarships our students actually receive. This creates more valuable results for the time you put into searching for additional funding.

Student Borrowing

Of those who borrowed student loans of any kind while at UCSF in the School of Dentistry graduating class of 2018, the average amount borrowed at UCSF was $211,144 (there were 75 students in the class who borrowed). 85% of the graduates graduated with UCSF debt.
