For those who borrowed a Federal Stafford Loan or Federal Graduate PLUS Loan while in attendance, you must complete Federal Loan Exit Counseling here: https://studentaid.gov/exit-counseling/. Be sure to select the option for Graduate or Professional students.
If you borrowed one or more of the loans below there is a separate/additional exit process:
• University Loan
• CA Dream Loan
• Health Professions Loan (HPSL)
• Loan for Disadvantaged Students (LDS)
• Nursing Student Loan, Nurse Faculty Loan
As applicable, you will receive an email from the servicer ECSI, [email protected], prompting you to complete their Exit Counseling. The UCSF contact for questions about the repayment for these types of loans is Maria Maniego from the Student Accounting Office. Students will manage their loan repayment for these types of loans at https://heartland.ecsi.net.
