Second Round CARES Act Emergency Relief Grant

The U.S. Department of Education announced on January 14, 2021 that additional funding would be made available to higher education institutions to ensure learning continues for students during the COVID-19 pandemic, under the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act's Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund II.  

Emergency grants have been awarded to UCSF students based on their financial need, beginning with students who previously received a Pell Grant and/or have outstanding federal student loan debt.
