Work-Study Student – Communications Assistant (SVGIP & DHM)

Up to 20 hours/week (flexible)

What You’ll Do

  • Draft and edit newsletters, articles, and team updates
  • Help create profiles and short stories highlighting research, faculty, staff, and community partners
  • Update website content and assist with organizing public-facing materials
  • Support communication and content projects across multiple study teams
  • Help organize communication assets, templates, and shared files
  • Assist with social media or outreach content when needed
  • Collaborate with the research team on storytelling and communications projects

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Interest in storytelling, communications, healthcare, research, or public health
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Comfortable learning new tools and platforms
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Teams) preferred
  • Interest in website content, newsletters, or media is a plus
  • Bicultural and/or bilingual Spanish skills preferred
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
