CalFresh Benefit Replacement Due to Power Outages

CalFresh recipients can request to have their food benefits replaced if food was spoiled or they had to throw away their food due to the power outage. 

 

The following options are available: 

1. Call SFHSA and speak to a worker about benefits replacement: SFHSA: 855-355-5757 

2. Speak to a CalFresh outreach staff member to get help to fill out and submit the benefits replacement form. 

3. Fill out the form themselves and submit online using benefitscal.com Replacement or Supplement Affidavit/Authorization (CF 303).

 

Callers would have 10 days from the event to request the replacement. They’d get either partial or full benefits replaced based on the county's decision.
